Pornichet's longuest beach. When the tide is low this is the favourite place for shell fish gathereurs. A real haven of peace for swimming, this beach is also appreciated for skim and bodyboarding.

In July and August children from 4 to 12 years can benefit from the beach club "Bel Air" (tel: 02-40-61-80-58) with swimming pool, kayak and paddle , and elder children (from 16 years) from the sailing club "le Recif" (tel : 02-40-61-61-20). On Pornichet's other beaches (des Libraires and Saint Marguerite) there are other sailing clubs open from April who welcome small children from 5 years old. An important place is made for the bicycle in southern Britanny with 11 different routes "Velocéan", 170km of cycle tracks.

You can purchase for a small sum maps of these tracks at the Tourist office.
